for a $ 20, this is a no-brainer. writes smoothly with a nice thin line. No stains, no chaos when filling the converter. just fill it up, plug it in and doodle until the ink flow begins. not to mention that it's nice, really nice design. I've noticed a lot of passing with my card, so the ink flow is constant. I highly recommend this pen, especially for a novice user to fountain pen.
